Anthill Design is a partnership firm that aspires to work as a collaborative design studio. It was started in 2005 and has mainly dealt with residential projects till very recently when it has received both institutional and housing commissions.

The primary concerns that determine design process revolve around ‘SITE’, ‘TYPOLOGY’ and the possibilities of its contemporary expressions. The studio has had the opportunity to build in diverse geographic and cultural situations across the country from rehabilitating schools in Kashmir to luxurious private homes in Udaipur and Bangalore. During the design process the architectonic qualities of each project are seen to be emerge from a response to particular contextual attributes rather than a need for a generalised formal architectural language.

Anthill Design is based in Ahmedabad and its principal partners are Sarosh Anklesaria, Roma Pandya and Riyaz Tayyibji.
